Reward Gateway | Edenred Accessibility Statement
Our policy and commitment
At Reward Gateway | Edenred, we are committed to accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.
As Business Disability Forum members, we endeavor to ensure our solutions and services are accessible to all, regardless of ability. As part of this, we follow W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and applicable legislation.
To meet Public Sector Accessibility Regulations (2018), we:
- Independently tested the platform to WCAG 2.2 A and AA
- Support assistive technologies
- Included people with disabilities in user research and testing
- Published this Accessibility Statement
Digital accessibility statement
We are working to ensure our websites and online services are accessible for all and are committed to following the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and other applicable accessibility laws. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- Change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
- Zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
To accomplish this, we have partnered with Level Access to leverage their technology platform and 25 years of experience to achieve and sustain conformance to accessibility standards. Their accessibility technology platform is used to evaluate our digital properties in accordance with best practices and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users with disabilities.
Through this partnership we continue to develop our digital accessibility program and capabilities so that we are designing, developing, and testing our websites and online services for conformance to accessibility standards.

Evaluation methods used
The platform is continually tested against the applicable success criteria within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 conformance Level A and AA.
The testing methodology includes a combination of automated testing, manual and code level review and testing by individuals with disabilities using various assistive technologies, including keyboard-only interaction. This testing methodology ensures that every aspect related to accessibility and user experience is included in our analysis. Below is a list of some of the technologies and environments used:
- Assistive technologies – screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard only interaction, browser zoom
- Automated tools – Axe, Color Contrast Analyzer
- Browsers – Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari
- Accessibility plugins – Axe
- Assistive tools in operating systems – VoiceOver, TalkBack
- Devices - desktops, tablets and or smart phones
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We use multiple approaches to continuously improve and maintain accessibility standards. These fall into the following categories:
Prevention
- Prevention through automated tooling:
- Axe based unit testing in new code
- Continuously monitoring code using 3rd party tools.
- Prevention through SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) processes:
- Accessibility is considered from the Design stage
- Reducing the number of code variations introduced. Preferring using well tested, compliant existing code instead of creating new implementations.
- Pre-deployment checks monitor code changes.
- Prevention through staff training:
- We have created internal Accessibility Guilds to share knowledge.
- We have partnered with market leader, Level Access, to provide training in their Accessibility Academy.
- We have purchased subscriptions to accessibility online training platforms to allow all developers to increase their awareness.
- We have access to technical support for specific cases with Level Access technical professionals.
Monitoring
- We have implemented weekly automated monitoring to scan the platform against WCAG 2.2 AA standards to identify any additional areas for remediation.
- Arranging large scale manual audits by Level Access to identify issues not detected through automated scanning. These can include:
- Form interactions
- Modals and dialogs
- Asynchronous activities such as lazy loaded content or alerts and notifications.
- Rich media interactions
- Manual re-validation of the remediations to ensure we work together to solve issues to the highest standard.
- Online reporting dashboards provide us with up-to-date feedback so we can schedule the most critical issues effectively.
